About

Compassionate. Problem Solver. Team Player. Punctual. Safe and Sound.

These aren't just words, they’re the principles I live and work by every day. Whether I'm supporting patients on the front line, keeping myself and my team safe from harm, navigating challenging driving conditions, or resolving complex computing issues, I strive to bring a calm, capable, safe, methodical, and committed approach to everything I do.

I've been about a bit, no point pretending otherwise. My career history has taken me through high-pressure environments, from IT support desks to some of the most remote corners of the UK and Europe behind the wheel of an HGV. Now, I serve on the front line for our NHS Ambulance Service.

My broad, albeit sometimes sporadic, experience has shaped me into the professional I am today. I’ve picked up vital, real-world skills that can’t be learnt from a book or classroom. I’m a quick learner, an adaptable team player and someone you can rely on to stay calm when the pressure is turned up to eleven. Throughout my working life, I’ve consistently shown a deep desire to help people, which is reflected in the majority of customer-focused roles that I have worked. That, more than anything, is what defines my professional path.

I’d describe myself as an all-around “good guy”, always striving to help people in need, no matter the situation. As a father of two wonderful children, I’ve applied my personal and professional skills to balance my career and family life. I’m passionate about tech, always tinkering with something and seeking to learn new skills. And, of course, I’m a huge car enthusiast. I’m usually found browsing Autotrader, eBay or other selling platforms for classic cars, convincing myself that I’ll find time to maintain and enjoy it; if not, I’m probably at some car show or heritage museum admiring the ones that already have been restored and cherished.

Autonomy & Growth

Over the years I’ve developed a strong desire for greater autonomy and responsibility in my work. While I enjoy working in close-knit teams, I also thrive when trusted to make decisions independently and see tasks through from start to finish. I’m motivated by roles that challenge me, allow me to think on my feet, and give me the opportunity to directly influence outcomes.

My varied background has shown me the value of personal accountability and self-motivation. I’m now focused on roles where I can use that independence alongside strong teamwork to deliver the best results possible.
